Internet Business Book Show
Marvin Davis, author of best-selling book Turnaround, will appear on Profitabilitychannel.com’s “Cover Stories” to promote his latest novel.
February 4, 2008 (Atlanta, GA) Profitabilitychannel.com is where the internet’s most exciting business book show resides. A weekly online broadcast program, “Cover Stories” features authors and books from the world of business as it pertains to technology, sports & entertainment, health, finance, and other areas. Each program is divided into three self-contained segments, covering news and features about business books, along with an interview with the author, editor, or other guest with a unique perspective on business books and publishing. The show is hosted by Jennifer Colter, who brings both business and on-camera experience to the series.
This week’s guest is Marvin A. Davis, author of the best-seller Turnaround, who will be LIVE in the Atlanta studio promoting his latest book, “Take No Prisoners: A No-Holds-Barred Approach to Corporate Excellence”. The interview proposes to be enlightening and candid—as Mr. Davis’ subject matter is extremely timely in a time where corporate America and the free enterprise system are volatile and booming, respectively.

Profitabilitychannel.com’s Production Manager Susan Vallen says, “The Cover Stories medium has several advantages. Internet broadcasting is very much targeted to particular viewer groups. There’s very little channel surfing. Viewers are there because they have a specific interest in the subject matter.”
Though “Cover Stories” is a business program, features and guests will represent a broad palate. “Sports, entertainment, technology, and even politics all have major business components,” Vallen says. “We’ll bring all those interests to our shows.”
All “Cover Stories” programs are taped at and broadcast from Studio 405, the Ribbon Network’s production facility, located in Norcross, GA, just north of Atlanta.
Authors on book tours and those visiting Atlanta for other reasons are invited to add to their schedules an appearance on the program.
Vallen says that as sponsorships and advertising for the program, she is looking forward to discussing guests and feature story pitches with publicists and other representatives.
